Frequently Asked Questions

The FAQ sections cover topics that Lifeline Childine Zambia counsellors most often encounter from children and adults.

Childline

It’s not easy for many of us, whether we’re 8 or 18 and trying to sort out problems at home or school, or feeling like we have to keep up with our friends or don’t fit in; can be really hard. You may not be sure what to do or who you can talk to or be keeping things inside and not telling anyone what’s happening because you’re so upset.

You’re not on your own and many children and young adults have similar experiences. Our trained counsellors can help you with how you’re feeling and what to do next. You can contact us free of charge anytime (24/7) whenever you are ready to talk confidentially and privately. You can also SMS us for free, or go onto our facebook page and look at some ideas for how to cope with many day to day problems. We will never tell your parents or teachers how you are feeling. We cannot provide you with money, however, we may be able to refer you to local resources who can help.
